Do I get CPD certificates for the conferences?

Yes these will be e-mailed to delegates following the completion of the CPD hours.

I have booked my ticket, but cannot attend now

Can I transfer my ticket to somebody else?

Can I book multiple tickets for my colleagues?

Yes you can. Each attendee will be required to submit details e.g their individual GDC number.

I am interested in a particular topic that I don’t see covered in Wisbora Conferences

We welcome and encourage our delegates to provide new topic suggestions. Please get in touch with us via our online enquiry form or alternatively, please put down the topic on the feedback forms at the end of the Conference Day and we will try our best to provide the topic in the future.

Dental FAQs

How many CPD hours am I supposed to do in the 5 year cycle?
  • Dentists – 100 hours
  • Dental therapists –  75 hours
  • Dental hygienists – 75 hours
  • Orthodontic therapists – 75 hours
  • Clinical dental technicians – 75 hours
  • Dental nurses – 50 hours
  • Dental technicians – 50 hours

Do you have a PDP template that I can use?

Yes, this will be present in the lecture booklets provided on the day. Alternatively, if you wish to discuss your PDP with one of the mentors during the conference day, then you can download the PDP, fill out the details you are able to and bring it with you on the day.

How can I get help for my PDP as I need some guidance?

We will have mentors at each of our conference days who will be able to help you work through your PDP planning during the breaks.

Does the BLS/CPR training cover everything I am required to know?

Yes, the training will cover all topics required by the Resuscitation council for medical emergencies and BLS/CPR training.

Does the Safe Guarding training cover everything I need to know?

The training covers Level 2 of the training requirements which is sufficient for most clinical roles within General Practice. You may need further level 3 training depending on your role.
