This initiative is a bespoke programme for providers of NHS dental services to ensure contractual compliance and minimise risks associated with their NHS contract. The programme involves the review of multiple reports to minimise risks with NHS England and ensure the effective delivery of the contract.
This process will include a review of:
- End of year data sets
- DAF reports
- Vital signs report
- Complaints received
- CQC reports
- NHSBSA reports and inquires
- NHS England report if applicable
- Health Education England reports if applicable
- Practice led KPIs as agreed
The process will also identify practice trends that may adversely affect the quality of services provided.
Following the review, the practice will receive a detailed report identifying areas of risk with an action plan as to how to address the issues found.
The action plan will provide direction as to how the issues can be not only eliminated, but also reviewed on a regular basis to ensure the required changes have been embedded. This will include introducing KPIs both at a practice and performer level.
It can also be tailored towards private practices with agreed key performance indicators following an initial discussion with the principal.
